現(xiàn)在我在翻譯實習(xí)的時候，一般也是采用這種方式，記錄的形式可能有所不同，但是收獲是相同的。我想，一定要記到腦子里面，那才是實實在在的。
在翻譯過程中，我發(fā)現(xiàn)術(shù)語都出現(xiàn)在人名、地名、組織名稱、公司名稱、電信公司等。讓我記憶猶新的就是“AT&T”的翻譯，因為這個詞在生活中比較常見，是AmericanTelephone&Telegraph的縮寫形式，中文意思是“美國電話電報公司”。還有RupertMurdoch，起初這個詞我并沒有查，因為上學(xué)期在報刊學(xué)的課上老師講過這個人，魯伯特·默多克，我印象尤深。
他出生于澳大利亞墨爾本以南30英里的一個農(nóng)場，是美國新聞和媒體經(jīng)營者，目前是新聞集團的主要股東，董事長兼行政總裁。以股票市值來計算，他的新聞集團已是世界上的跨國媒體集團。另外，我還記住了magnate這個詞，“巨頭，富豪，權(quán)貴，大資本家”之意。

通過閱讀，我了解到歐洲國家曾經(jīng)因為媒體互通的問題，歐洲聯(lián)盟提到過“無邊疆電視”的計劃，并且為此做出很大努力，很多貢獻。但是由于文化、語言等差異和不同，大家都希望收看、收聽、閱讀自己母語的節(jié)目和書籍，所以這一計劃破滅了。
我會付出更多的努力，向西方國家文化和語言靠攏，努力了解更多，認真吸收更多，以去其糟粕取其精華的精神學(xué)習(xí)和借鑒。

這段期間我學(xué)會了很多，我想，對于我們而言，自己真正理解的，深刻體會的才是最重要的，因為真正有意義的，真正重要的是整個過程。
之前我們小組在討論的時候，有句話是“這并不是說??”。我們理所當然的翻譯成了“It’s not that??”但是一個偶然的機會，其中一個組員在視聽說課上看到了一個例句It simply doesn't follow that xxxeach state's obligations, in other words, are ultimately to its own citizens.xxx 又經(jīng)過一番討論和查閱，我們確定了這個說法。令我印象最為深刻的是，有一次我們在校園里散步，有個組員看到一句諺語“Fear always springs from ignorance.恐懼源于無知。”那天我們記下這句諺語，并且互相提醒如果翻譯時遇到“源于”這個詞，記得考慮用spring from這個詞組。
我想我們真的在逐步提高，不僅是能力，包括一種難能可貴的團隊精神。

在上周老師的講話中，我了解到實際中的翻譯項目一般都是規(guī)定在有限的時間內(nèi)，由一個翻譯工作坊(工作組)共同完成。分工完成后的譯稿還需由一名負責(zé)人潤色，這樣可以達到風(fēng)格的一致性，而且術(shù)語會更豐富一些。遵照老師的建議，我們班的同學(xué)幾乎都已經(jīng)分好小組。我們小組也不例外，已經(jīng)準備好模擬真正的翻譯工作坊，全力以赴，爭取順利完成實習(xí)。
首先，我們小組要做的第一件事就是要確定翻譯文本。經(jīng)過了一番小討論和一段小插曲后，我們決定選擇《MediaNow》作為英翻中的內(nèi)容，《商務(wù)禮儀》作為中翻英的材料。今天我們在圖書館查閱資料的時候，發(fā)現(xiàn)
可以翻譯的東西很多，其實這些都可以作為我們平時自學(xué)的材料。根據(jù)規(guī)定，無論是中翻英、還是英翻中，內(nèi)容材料必須保證Native，拿到《MediaNow》這本書的時候，我們四個人對此都很感興趣。
我們渴望多了解一些關(guān)于媒體新聞、文化與技術(shù)的信息，而且我們發(fā)現(xiàn)這本由清華大學(xué)出版社于2019年出版的書很與時俱進，內(nèi)容豐富，涵蓋面廣，有實景、照片、圖表。
最終，我們小組決定翻譯“全球媒介”章節(jié)，我們覺得話語很客觀，內(nèi)容新穎，也有我們想了解的信息和不認識的術(shù)語，通過查閱我們一定都能有所收獲。我想，經(jīng)過這次翻譯我們一定能更深刻、更用心的了解西方文化。
漢譯英的材料是《商務(wù)禮儀》。我們小組一致認為，今后走向社會所面臨問題的第一大問題就是商務(wù)場合所必備的社交禮儀和行為規(guī)范。這在商務(wù)成長路上不可忽視，將我們想了解的知識翻譯成英文，對我們學(xué)懂商務(wù)禮儀和提高翻譯能力都是有利的。

新的一周，經(jīng)過2天的休整，同時更加投入工作之中。對于上周的合同，在洽談完成后，合同的修訂也是重要項目，而翻譯員在這中間，需要把關(guān)，不僅傳遞著信息，也承擔著任務(wù)。
早上半天，都在整理合同相關(guān)規(guī)定的條例，不能有任何法律上的缺失，雖說我是新手，但是前輩還是手把手的教我，讓我先看經(jīng)濟法中的合同法，把其中與本次相關(guān)的內(nèi)容摘要下來，直到中午吃飯，我還在奮斗中。
下午更是好好學(xué)習(xí)和實踐的時候，在把相關(guān)資料整理后，拿給翻譯員，看著他們討論，以及如何翻譯的更正規(guī)，雖然只是短短2個小時，可是，討論過程相當激烈，結(jié)果也相當滿意，那份合同也通過了主任的認可，交給了部長。這天下來，我深刻明白了，身體是革命的本錢，因為大家都為了工作，廢寢忘食。

這周主要進行譯文校對與討論，小組人員態(tài)度很認真，刻苦精神十足，我的干勁也被組員干事們帶起來了，因此我很幸運地又過了一個充實而有意義的星期。
在小組校對和討論過程中，我發(fā)現(xiàn)校對和翻譯大有不同，可以說，校對要完成的工作量比翻譯量要大，接觸和掌握的資料也比較復(fù)雜，其難度也參差不一。我認為做校對可以而且也應(yīng)該接觸和掌握更多的做翻譯時不可能接觸和掌握到的資料。
我們小組遇到的問題主要有如下幾方面： 一、有些專有名詞的譯法不一致。我想這一點在于每個人平時的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境和情況都不同，我們也意識到應(yīng)該每天都向本組匯報翻譯情況，遇到的哪怕是一點點極小的問題，比如生詞，各種專有名詞等等，都應(yīng)該向全組人員討論，以確保翻譯的時候達到一致。其實，這也提醒著我們，應(yīng)該每天增大閱讀量，多看看新聞報紙以及各種原著，盡可能的增大自己的詞匯量，以及對于專有名詞正確的翻譯方法。
二、“錯譯”。有的時候我們發(fā)現(xiàn)大家在做翻譯的時候并沒有達到100%完全認真， 導(dǎo)致譯文出現(xiàn)低級錯誤，其實我覺得校對這一環(huán)節(jié)特別重要，不僅將整篇文章的語言潤色， 還可以對上一個譯員的翻譯結(jié)果做出評價和檢查。
比如，在校對中譯英的時候，翻譯“信奉新教”就進行了一番小討論：Protestant和Protestantism。經(jīng)過查閱牛津高階詞典，我們確定了這一詞的使用。
例如：1、“她是xxx徒還是新xxx?”Is she a Catholic or a Protestant? 2、“他就早期新xxx的異端邪說作了演講。”He gave a speech on the heresies of the early Protestants. 3、“一名新xxx向人群發(fā)表了演說。”A Protestant delivered a speech to the crowd. 而Protestantism的用法為：1、Catholicism and Protestantism were introduced into Shanxi in 1620 1876 respectively. 2、Prussian Protestantismcould not get rid of the control of the nation in the process of the development of modernization. 3、a member of a society founded in Ireland in 1795 to uphold Protestantism and the British sovereign. 從而確定了這兩個單詞的用法。 “信奉”的說法如下：1、He is adherent to Islam. 2、He professed Islam.他表白信仰xxx教。A believer orfollower of Islamxxx教的信徒或追隨者。
在翻閱大量翻譯技巧書的時候，我懂得了什么叫做“錯譯”，錯譯的范圍很廣，經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的錯譯有地名、數(shù)字、日期、拼寫等。我想這一點是可以避免的，只要我們平時付出更多的努力，同時也要做到更加認真負責(zé)。
三、翻譯風(fēng)格不太相同。如果沒有校對這一環(huán)節(jié)，我想每個讀者都可以看出這篇文章不是同一個人翻譯的，因為無論是語氣、寫作風(fēng)格和寫作手法來看，都是可以看出區(qū)別的。所以校對這一環(huán)節(jié)對文章整體的統(tǒng)一也是至關(guān)重要的。
此外，我認為具有團隊精神是進入翻譯工作坊資格的其中一項，責(zé)任心和團隊精神同樣重要。聽取他人的意見、學(xué)會接受。這些都很重要。
